University Maharani's College started its onward voyage as an Intermediate College in the year 1944 from the precincts of 'Madho Vilas', Zorawar Singh gate, Jaipur under the able stewardship of Reverent Smt Savitri Bhartiya. The existing High School was upgraded to include Intermediate classes. The subjects offered in the Intermediate study included Hindi, English, History, Economics, Philosophy, Hygiene and Child study. The era marked a paradigm shift in women emancipation.
