UTL Technologies was started on 11th June 2001 by the UTL group with a aim to bridge the Gap between the academics and industry. UTL group had the in-house training team since 1997 which was training the fresh recruits of the group. The need to bridge the gap was felt by the UTL group in this training process which resulted in establishing a full fledged, well equipped training organization to cater to the growing industry needs.
UTL Technologies is focused on niche technology areas in Semiconductor technology and Mobile Communication in order to leverage on the technical strengths of the group companies. The training is offered in the areas of Embedded Systems Design, VLSI design, Mobile Communication and Networking. The course content is designed keeping in mind the current and future requirements of the industry. Major contribution in terms of content, curriculum design and hands on experiments comes from the UTL group companies. We also interact regularly with technical members of renowned industries to verify the relevance of the content to the industry expectation and upgrade the content accordingly. This up-gradation happens every six months.
Our in-house technical trainers are well qualified with an experience ranging from 3 years to 20 years. Every course is headed by a technical head who is responsible for implementing the changes suggested by the UTL group and other industries and for training other technical members on these new developments.
We also have proven systems for intake of the candidates, ensuring quality and delivery standards, course execution, Continuous evaluation, placement assistance and certification which aims at producing industry ready professionals at the end of the training program. Apart from technical training, personality development sessions including the interview skills, human skills and communication skills are also incorporated into the training courses to achieve the goal of developing the students into complete professionals.
We have also contributed to the growth of many industries by providing customized project specific corporate training to their fresh recruits and experienced employees. In the last six years of our existence we have trained more than 6000 candidates and have contributed more than 4500 candidates to the Semiconductor and Telecommunication industry. We have also trained more than 120 batches of corporate clients starting from entry level training to high-end project specific training. All these features confirm the acceptability of our training quality by the industry both in terms of manpower recruitment and training.
