IKOS India is the largest subsidiary of IKOS Systems Inc. IKOS, headquartered in the US, is a worldwide provider of innovative design verification products and solutions for the high-complexity ASICs and System-on-silicon design industry. IKOS India was formed in May 1998 through a technology and expertise acquisition by IKOS from Delsoft India Pvt. Ltd., a leading Noida-based EDA software house. The primary focus of IKOS India is software R&D and core technology development for current and future IKOS products. In addition to the R&D division, IKOS India owns the sales and consulting services divisions. IKOS India is one of IKOS Systems' three R&D centers and is the largest development facility located outside of the United States. Jyotirmoy Daw, the former CEO of Delsoft, heads up the Noida-based operation, which currently employs over 50 professionals, primarily from I.I.Ts. Housed in a 17, 000 sq. ft. facility in Noida, IKOS India has a state-of-the-art development center which is equipped with the latest workstations and a dedicated link to its corporate headquarter in Cupertino CA, USA.
