Design Engnr/Mgr work is to Evaluates the client application / systems for testing requirements and executes Functional Black Box Operational Qualification ( OQ ) testing and System Performance Testing( Stress, Volume & Load ) by using manual & automated tools and techniques.
Reviews User Specs , Functional and Design Specs to develop test plans and test cases, designs strategies for automating and executing the tests and supports this process by using STC standard templates & processes.
Researches and evaluates multiple solutions, and recommends the most efficient and cost effective testing solution by working closely with the Project Manager, Technical Lead and Business representatives to identify test requirements and test cases.
Is responsible for delivery of test documentation and test results to requirements specified in the test plan with agreed date and quality
On exceptional basis , may works closely with the Project & Business representatives to identify Performance Qualification ( PQ ) areas and test cases.
