Functional outside Consultant work is
Test Engineering tasks such as architecting, strategizing and designing tests for functional testing areas that are part of Component testing section at Foundation Engineering Lab. * You are expected to stretch towards contributing to research in the area of Component Testing standards that is described by British Computer Society (BS7925) and other standard bodies.
You would report to the Program Manager
Duties and Key Responsibilities
Test Case Design Review and test case coverage for the entire section
Test strategy specific to the components owned by the section
Preparation and review of test strategy for the project teams
Process improvement & enhancing productivity from technical perspective for the section
Tracking the release quality (Technical) of test components owned by the complete section
Automation for the assigned test modules/products
Evaluation and implementation of appropriate tools for testing (test tools and productivity tools)
Technical guidance to the entire section on component testing standards and improvements
Improving Quality of test cases owned by the teams
Identifying and implementing new ideas/strategies/tools for the team
Strategy, design of effective functional Testing for a suite of products, using industry standard best processes and methodologies
