Release Mgr work is
Provide Checkpoint Firewall administration of access requests implementing solutions which complies with Teradata network security requirements. This includes reviewing firewall changes requested to satisfy business and application requirements.
Responsible for daily operations of the firewall (Noika) hardware devices.
Responsible for the daily operations and maintenance of the Checkpoint Management Server (running Checkpoint NGX release 61).
Investigate suspicious activity coming from the Teradata network. This includes looking at Firewall logs for improper activity. Maintain log files for six month audit retention period.
Responsible to completing quarterly SOX compliance testing.
All system admin for firewall enforcement points and management servers.
Coordination with ITS Security Manager to ensure corporate policy compliance.
