System Admin work is
To perform baseband algorithm identification, system level design and performance simulation for WCDMA/TD_SCDMA/LTE mobile terminal chipsets;
To achieve an optimal system architectures between ASIC and DSP through hardware/software system partitioning;
To create the design specifications for DSP and ASIC implementation;
To define test cases and provide test vectors for design verification.
Solid layer 1 algorithm theory in wireless mobile communication systems of GSM/ GPRS/ WCDMA/CDMA2000/ TD-SCDMA, understanding of 3G UMTS L2/3 protocol is an advantage;
Speciality in channel estimation, equalization, timing track, blind detection, QPSK/8PSK/16QAM modulation, Viterbi & Turbo encoding/decoding, RAKE receiver finger management, transmission power control, and power saving mode design etc. is preferred;
Hands on experience with COSSAP/SPW based system modeling and simulation, be able to perform floating point and bit-true simulation for algorithm optimization and support ASIC verification.
