Creation and support of pre-production and production environments.Deployment of applications onto WAS infrastructure. Troubleshoot Websphere Infrastructure issuesincluding Start, Stop of Services
Follow and suggest improvements as appropriate to infrastructure and processes.
Support application development teams as appropriate.Experience of deploying internet-facing applications using Websphere Application Server , LDAP, Java, XML and SOAP/HTTP.Basics of HP-UX / Windows administration and security awareness.
Experience in any of the following would be beneficial: design of WAS / Java infrastructure, connectivity to MQ using Java, JMS, JVM tuning, Websphere clustering, 2EE, Java, JVM tuning, MQ Series
