URGENT OPENING FOR STAFF DRILLING SURVEILLANCE ENGINEER FOR SAUDI ARABIA LOCATION

Required Competencies

BS or Master degree in engineering or geosciences with several years of industry experience

Good experience in real-time drilling operations and field surveillance.

Experience in interpreting inside the borehole (drillstring, BHA, Hydraulics) and outside borehole (pore and fracture pressures, wellbore stability, basin modeling) measurements and modeled parameters. Combining inside and outside the borehole data is critical to trouble avoidance strategies.

Experience in formation evaluation, drilling parameter monitoring and optimization, well control and mud logging.

Experience in wellbore stability analysis, drilling data analysis and down hole pore pressure evaluation.

Familiar with the software tools used in wellbore stability analysis.

Perform real-time well surveillance activities on critical wells.

Should be� able to work with the following data types and technologies:

o Surface System, Drill string and Annulus Data

Borehole� trajectory

Drillstring� mechanic(vibration-torque-drag)

BHA and bit� mechanics

Should be� able to operate on real-time data on critical wells, with the main goals of the service being:

1. Reduce non-productive time (NPT)

Avoid Kicks�

Prevent or� minimize fluid losses

Reduce� occurrence of stuck pipe incidents

Minimize� well bore instability

Reduce well� control incidents

2. Increase drilling efficiency

Monitor drill� string mechanics & BHA vibration to prevent BHA and drill string damage.

Monitor hole� cleaning

Optimize� penetration rate
