Job Description
1)Administration and
Technical
Support of our Lotus Domino
servers and Notes clients.
2)Functional responsibilities include installation, maintenance,
configuration, and performance tuning of Lotus Notes application.
3)Develop documentation of Domino server environment and Domino procedures
for both servers and clients.
4)Configuring, supporting and troubleshooting Blackberry
Enterprise
Servers.
5)Support for all product upgrades and patches to servers, provide root
cause analysis for all outages.
6)Design, implementation, testing and troubleshooting of e-mail systems and
application servers.
7)Candidate must have a solid understanding of Notes/Domino infrastructure
technology (including Domino HTTP environments)
8)Database deployments, design changes, server tasks, replication, security
mechanisms like ACLs, Reader/Authors fields etc.
9)Knowledge in mail server clustering and backup of Lotus Notes Server.
10)SPAM Control / Filtering Products like Websense , Iron Port, Borderware,
Barracuda exposure is desirable.
11)Exposure to Linux Enterprise server is must.
Desired Candidate Profile
1)Education: Any Graduate / BE /B.Sc /B Tech
in Computer Science/ EE / Electronics / Telecommunication with Preferred IBM
Lotus Notes Certified Systems Administrator (version 6 or higher) in Linux
Platform.
2)Experience: 3 to 5 years of administration experience in Lotus Notes and
Linux System
3)Age: Around 25 years
4)Location: Mumbai
5)Salary and Package � Not a constraint for genuine and talented candidate.
6)Travel � 20 % foreign travel opportunity.
7)Designation � not an issue as per talent.
8)Skills Required:
Responsible for IBM Lotus Notes Mail Server Administration like Mail server
in Linux Server platform.
Configuration / Client Set-up, Mail Gateway, SMTP Server setting up etc
Good Knowledge in Installation, Configuration, and troubleshooting Lotus
Notes.
Must have excellent Communication skills.
Must have experience of supporting domino environment for multiple
locations.
Excellent
customer
service and communication skills
are required. Ingenuity and innovation are a must.
Experience in administration of
Lotus
Domino 6.x / 7.x and above in
Linux platform.
Thorough understanding of Lotus Domino Server Administration concepts and
troubleshooting.
Experience of monitoring, metrics and implementing Best Practices in a
complex Lotus Domino Server and Notes environment.
Experience in leading a major release migration, policies / settings, and
the knowledge of key statistics and monitoring events / stat thresholds, and
ID recovery.
Lotus Notes development skills would be an added advantage.
Linux Enterprise Server hands on working is very essential skill .
