Council of Scientific & Industrial Research (CSIR), New Delhi has issued notification for the recruitment of Principal Scientist/ Senior Principal Scientist & Scientist/ Senior Scientist vacancies. Eligible candidates can apply online on or before 30-07-2013 up to 05:30 PM & submit the hard copy within a week from 30-07-2013. Age Limit: Candidates upper age limit is 45 to 50 years for S.No 1 post and 32 to 37 years for S.No 2 post as on 30-07-2013. Age relaxation will be applicable as per the rules.
Educational Qualification: Candidates should possess Ph.D (Sc), Ph.D. in Biotechnology/ Chemistry/ Organic Chemistry, M.E/ M.Tech in Polymer Science for S.No 1 Division, Ph.D. in Chemical Sciences/ Chemical Engineering/ Electronics and Communication Engineering/ Physical Sciences for S.No 2 Division, Ph.D. in Chemical Sciences/ Life Sciences for S.No 3 Division, Ph.D (Sc.), First Class B.Tech/ M.Sc with first Class post-graduate degree for S.No 4 Division & ME/ M. Tech in any discipline in Engineering or Ph.D (Sc/ Engg) for S.No 5 Division, with relevant experience for Principal Scientist, Sr Principal Scientist & Sr. Scientist posts.
Application Fee: Candidates has to pay Rs 500/- by Demand Draft drawn on State Bank of India in favour of 'Joint Secretary (Admn.), CSIR, New Delhi'. Women/SC/ST/PH candidates and CSIR employees are exempted from fee
Selection Process: Short listed candidates are called for interview/ test.
