Sriperumpudur is a panchayat town in Kancheepuram district in the Indian state of Tamil Nadu. It is located in proximity to Chennai. It is the birth place of Sri Ramanuja, one of the most prominent Hindu Vaishnava saints and the place where Rajiv Gandhi was killed.
