Recognizing the importance of the security sectors both as a key business segment and its role in the internal security of the nation, the Government of India has enacted the Private Security Agencies Act (PSARA), 2005. Amongst other regulatory measures, this Act has made training mandatory for all individuals engaged in the private industry. This in turn has led to a sudden demand for security programmes and security training institutions across the country.
