Job role of Director R & D
Position Summary
As a Director R & D, you are responsible for leading research and development activities for the Company for evolutionary products and services to further position the Company as an industry leader in the wireless market. Oversees the scoping of enhancements to existing products and services, new products and, feature definitions/applications in anticipation of customer needs
and wants. Leads Product Line Management group for development of high end quality product performance that will achieve desired life cycle.
Works closely and under the direction of Country Manager India with assignments ranging depending upon specific or multiple product line initiatives. Establishes appropriate product R&D structure and virtual team among other key departments. Works closely with other departments and other Senior Leaders to ensure alignment with product line vision, standards and evolution. Contributes towards various individual and consolidated products and service related business plans, analysis and reporting conducted.
