Mgr SA SQA is responsible for managing the quality engineering team through the full life cycle of development including reviewing requirements and specifications, managing test resources, test planning, design, review and execution. Typically responsible for tests, methods, and procedures to ensure continuous improvement to software quality assurance standards. Implements and defines testing methodology and standards to improve results. - Supervise test plans, test strategies, test metrics, defect metrics.- Report on status of product quality to development, customer support and product teams through rigorous testing methods.- Drive and manage the bug triage process, represent QA in project meetings to ensure efficient testing and defect process.- Attend product line meeting and plan for future product releases.- Customary management functions of the department, including resource allocation, hiring, operating budget planning and control, developing and administering schedules and performance requirements.
