Six decades ago, came to be established � Marathi Vidhyalaya, Bijapur�- a High School to impart secondary education through Marathi Medium- by Shikshan Prasarak Mandal, Bijapur- an Educational Society founded by a few devoted social workers and eminent personalities of the city like Shri Nanasaheb Joshi, Shri V.V.Ranade, Dr. H.L.Vaze, Shri K.T.Mhaskar and Shri Dajisaheb Limaye, thus practically responding to the need of the hour.
